Visitors:
No visitors today.  Special thanks to the observers for the spotting and
the company.


Weather:
Chilly day on the tower with the temperature starting out at around 0 C and
reaching a high of 1.6 C.  The winds were strong out of the NW, switching
to the W by the end of the count period. The pressure was stable at around
30.00 Hg.  Cloud cover ranged from about 60% to 100% by the end of the
count.

Raptor Observations:
A relatively quiet day on the tower despite the NW winds.  Red-tails were
dominant at 9.  The highlight of the day was a juvenile Goshawk that flew
by just north of the tower.

Non-raptor Observations:
A good number of Tundra Swans flew over the tower today (147).  The only
finch sp. recorded was Goldfinch (47).  Bonaparte's Gulls were also flying
by in small groups (32). Cindy also had a group of Trumpeter Swans (9)
flying and calling over the tower during the first hour of the count.

Predictions:
Party cloudy with a 40% chance of flurries.  Low of -1 C and a high of 4 C.
 Winds out of the SW at 35km/hr.  Chance of precip. 40%.
