A nice, big flock of Red-winged Blackbirds (400+) passed low overhead a

Snow Buntings (120+) did the same. Horned Lark (7), American Goldfinch
(13), Rusty Blackbird (4) and Red Crossbill (5) were detected throughout
the day. Great Blue Herons (12) were moving in the morning. Tundra Swans
(250+) were very noticeable once again. A Hooded Merganser was sighted in
the channel early in the morning and five Common Mergansers flew by early
in the afternoon.
