A visit to Ridgetown Sewage Lagoons this afternoon was quite productive. 3 Ross's Geese and 1 Blue-winged Teal were present along with many other waterfowl. 2 Bohemian Waxwings were perched on the hydro wires to the west of the lagoons. Both the geese and the teal were in the more southerly of the two ponds north of Milton Line. Full eBird checlist here: http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S12239067
Directions: Exit the 401 at Victoria Rd (Ridgetown) and head south. Turn right (west) on O'Neill Line (2nd road after 401), then right (south) on Colby Road (1st turn). Take the next right (west) onto Milton Line and you will soon come upon the lagoons on both the north and south sides of the road. The southerly lagoons can be viewed from the viewing tower on the south side of the road. The other lagoons are to the north of here.
