At about 5:00 p.m on December 7th the three Ross's Geese reported yesterday by
Gavin Platt circled over the lagoons for about 15 minutes before landing in the
south part of the lagoon. Pictures were taken in flight, although it was
getting dark. Also at this time many other geese began to land in the southern
pond, among them was at least one Cackling Goose. By then it was too dark for
pictures. I most likely missed many of the geese due to the failing light, so
it's definitely worth checking out. A complete checklist will be submitted to
eBird later.

Directions:
>From 401 exit south on Victoria Rd. Then turn west onto O'Neill Line, and
>after that turn south on Colby Rd., and then turn west on Mitton Line. The
>lagoons are on both the north and south sides of the road, but the geese were
>found in the southern pond with the viewing tower.

Good Birding,
Anthony Vanderheyden
