While checking the Rideau River from Montreal Rd. to Hwy 417 by snowshoe, I saw one male Barrow's Goldeneye along with some Commons, at 2:30 pm today. Park vehicle at Strathcona Park and walk (icy) left (north) about 100 m. No female BAGO seen.
