I covered the Rideau River today from Hwy 417 (Hurdman Bridge) to
Strathcona Park. One sub-adult Glaucous Gull 30 metres north of the bridge
with Herring and Greater Black-backeds, and one male Barrow's Goldeneye
with Commons 100 m south of the bridge. During the CBC on Sunday, Bernie
Ladouceur pointed out two Iceland Gulls (one sub-adult and one adult) 50 m
north of the bridge, but there were none today.
