Today at about 2:30 to 3:00 this afternoon, I've spotted the Oregon junco eating the seeds that were put on the ground with the other dark eyed juncos and American tree sparrows.
The bird flew farther into the brush after a few groups of people came trying to feed the nuthatches and black capped chickadees. I couldn't relocate the Oregon junco after that. Some other interesting species at the marsh were the large number of cardinals, and out at the lake there were buffelheads and red breasted mergansers. Good luck!
