The Red-headed Woodpecker continues to visit the feeder and surrounding woodlot at 3196 Campden Rd.and this afternoon there was a Northern Shrike a half block due east of that location, and 12 Wild Turkeys further along at 20 Valley Golfclub .
Directions: QEW Niagara take Vicoria Ave. (Reg.24) exit, go south, up the escarpment, turn rt. at Fly Rd.(stoplight) then left on Campden Rd. The house is on the west side of Campden Rd. just south of Young St. The shrike was on the south side of Young St. just half way down that block. Continue on Young St. which curves to the left to the golfcourse to look for the turkeys. There were lots of Horned Larks along the roadsides but no Snow Buntings or Longspurs to be found today!
