A number of well attended feeders on Dalkeith St in Pakenham attract a varity 
of birds which in turn attracted all three accipiters on the 23rd; 
SHARP-SHINNED, COOPER'S and NORTHERN GOSHAWK.
 
BOHEMIAN WAXWING continue to be seen all over the Ottawa/Gatineau area; 60+ at 
the Rockcliffe Park Rockeries on the 24th, 15 south of the Hurdman bridge on 
the 26th and 110-120 in Barrhaven (Jockvale and Larkin) on the 31st
 
Interesting sighting were;
- MERLIN were seen on the 23rd and 26th at the Jeanne d'Arc Blvd Fire Station 
in Orleans and on the 29th near the Hilda Rd feeders
- SONG SPARROW (1) continues at a Meadowlands feeder
- WHITE-THROATED SPARROW (2) at the southern feeder at Fletcher Wildlife 
Gardens on the 26th
- CEDAR WAXWING (2) along the fence on the west side of the Britannia 
Conservation Area on the 26th
- WHITE-WINGED CROSSBILL (1 male) with HOUSE FINCHES at a Barrhaven feeder on 
the 27th
- GRAY PARTRIDGE (30) were seen on the 26th and 28th in the strip of corn 
stalks on the south side of Giroux Rd east of Frank Kenny
- CAROLINA WREN continues at feeders along Britannia Rd and along the fence on 
the west side of the Britannia Conservation Area 
- BLACK-BACKED WOODPECKER (1 female) continues to be seen from the Lime Kiln 
Trail 
- GREEN-WINGED TEAL (male) on the small creek on March Valley Rd south of 
Klondike Rd on the 26th
- BARROW'S GOLDENEYE (male) continues on the Rideau River just south of the 
Hurdman bridge
- HOUSE FINCH (21) were seen at a Barrhaven feeder on the 26th
- AMERICAN ROBIN (6-8) were seen near the Champlain bridge on the 26th
- COMMON GRACKLE, very rare in January and February, continues at a feeder in 
Carleton Place
