Out in the bay off Sunnyside Beach and near St. Joseph's hospital there is a large slender necked grebe a few hundred feet offshore. I could not make out much more detail with just my binoculars.
This area is accessible from Lakeshore Boulevard between Ellis and Parkside. The closest parking is just East of Parkside near Gus Ryder pool.
