Hi, I forgot to include in my post about the geese that there was one adult Glaucous and one adult Thayer's Gull off the small beach at the start of the waterfront trail in Port Hope. also of note where over 1000 canada Geese and one white-winged Scoter at the latter location.
To reach the waterfront trail take highway 28 from 401 all the way down to port hope. Park in the parking lot at the start of the trail.
