Hi Ontbirders. Today a flock of 3 dozen plus Bohemian Waxwings flew over the Old Quarry Trail. Last weekend, I saw a dozen or two there as well. Others saw a lot more. From the parking lot, take the right-most trail....the one that allows dog-walking. Go past the hydro station and follow trail until it turns left. It's about a 2 minute walk. Seveal dozen common redpolls at the Hilda Road feeders today. I saw one that may be a Hoary but those things move around so hard to be sure. But a trio of birders mentioned seeing two Hoaries there while I was watching the birds. Mornings seem better for seeing greater number of the redpolls. Thanks. W.
