At Colonel Sam Smith Park in Toronto, between 9:30 and 11:00 am, a single
immature male Harlequin Duck was seen in the eastern bay associating and diving
with a group of Buffleheads.

Next, the Western Grebe was seen diving in the unfrozen part of the marina, at
very close range. Also in the marina was a (presumably female) Snowy Owl
sitting on the ice around the docks.

Other noteworthy sightings were a singing Northern Shrike and a Horned Grebe.

Directions as per previous post.

Good birding,
Anthony and Matthew Vanderheyden
