Hello, Today (March 19, 2013) from 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM, I observed:
150+ Bohemian Waxwings 1 "Southern" Hoary Redpoll 1 "Greater" Common Redpoll The waxwings were seen just outside of our yard. The redpolls visited our backyard feeders. I have several photos of the "Greater" Common Redpoll - it is a classic specimen; a real stunner! Directions: I am located at 88 Stradwick Ave in Barrhaven, Ottawa, ON >From 417, merge onto 416 S. Take exit 72 Hunt Club Road* *toward Nepean. Turn left onto West Hunt Club. Take first right onto Cedarview. Turn left at Jockvale. Turn right on Weybridge. Take first left onto Delmeade. Take a left onto Stradwick. Follow Stradwick to house number 88.
