While out observing the Snow Geese spectacle above and on Cobb's Creek south of
Russell Road (10s of thousands high in the sky and about 1000 viewed south of
the road on the creek), a Clarence-Rockland employee pulled up in a truck and
told me to tell others to respect their road closures.

Apparently, 3 vehicles ended up in a sinkhole along Boileau Rd., south of
Russell Rd. recently.
At least one of the drivers tried to claim to his insurance company that the
signage was not prominent enough which is not generally true.
The employee was very friendly, but says that they will be a bit defensive now,
by ensuring their temporary barriers are righted soon after they are knocked
down or blown down in the wind. Also $155 fines will be given to those that are
seen to flagrantly disregard road closures.
