Watched the Ross's Goose late this afternoon in the restoration pond next to= the Trisan arena in Schomberg until about 6:00 pm. It then flew south to t= he grain fields along Aurora Rd in Pottageville with all the Canada Geese to= feed. Just before dark it returned with the flock of Canada Geese to the po= nd next to the Trisan arena just before dark for the night. Seems to be the p= attern it is following.
Also in the pond were 5 Common Mergansers, buffleheads, pr. of Ring-necked D= ucks, Spotted Sandpipers, Greater Scaup and killdeer.
