Birders on Lake Ontario should be on the lookout for an adult Northern Gannet that flew past the lighthouse at Presqu’ile Provincial Park at 18:15 h. today (Wednesday). It could have headed either east or west from there (or even straight across the lake), since I was unable to see from my window after it flew out of sight towards the lighthouse.
