Hi birders,

Despite the rain early this morning, it is turning into a pretty nice day
out there. South Point Trail has been extremely quiet this morning but
early reports from spots like Spicebush Trail indicate good numbers and
diversity of warblers down in the woods. Spicebush and Tulip Tree Trail and
Bennett Road are likely your best bet for warblers this morning. No
rarities of any sort have been reported except for one of the continuing
Yellow-throated Warblers that has visited the visitor centre feeders this
morning.

Neither the Summer Tanager nor the Western Kingbird have been reported
today.

Directions:
Take exit 101 from Highway 401 and drive South 16 km on Chatham Kent
Road 15.  Turn right and follow the signs to the park.  The Bird
Sightings Book, Bird Sightings Board, Bird Checklists and other
relevant information are to be found at the Visitor Centre.  To reach
the Visitor Centre from the park Gate, travel 6 km South on Rondeau
Road to Gardiner Ave., then follow it around the bend to the parking
lot.
