A strange day indeed. We experienced Sun, cloud, sleet and even some snow. I took a walk through the woods at 5 p.m., and it was very quiet until I got to the lane way. There in just a few trees there was 2 Blackburnian Males, 3 Blue Gray Gnatcatchers, 1 Magnolia Warbler, 1 Male Redstart, 1 Yellow Warbler, and more than a dozen ubiquitous Yellow Rumped Warblers. The majority female. Then came the sleet. Also earlier today, Chestnut Sided Warbler, Tennessee, Blk Throated Blue and Green, both male and female Scarlet Tanagers, Wood and Swainson's Thruses, 2 Boblinks in the meadow. Field, WC, WT, and Song Sparrows. Northern Orioles, and House Wren. Directions as per previous posts Peter
