It was on the vegetated divider between ponds 1 and 2, visibly swaying in the buffeting wind as it tried to sleep while standing on one leg. There was a smattering of other shorebirds including 4 Dowitchers.

The air was a little insalubrious there today, partly from the >obvious but mostly because Racoons (I think) are using the viewing hide as a >latrine.
