While with a group from the Guelph Field Naturalists (Now Nature Guelph) we found
what appears to be a first generation male Brewster's Warbler. The bird was exclusively singing the usual Blue-winged Warbler song. At the park, we found the bird along the left arm of the loop trail that leaves the parking area, and heads in a westerly direction. This bird can be heard from the parking lot. We also had good looks at Grasshopper and Clay-coloured sparrows. Larry Staniforth Nature Guelph Bird Wing Forks of the Credit P.P. is located about 1 KM south of Charleston Sideroad (old Hwy 24) on Mclaren Road. Nearest town is Caledon at Hwy 10 and Charleston Sideroad. _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
