I just came back from a short visit in the Larose Forest and heard at least 4 Whip-poor-wills at the corner of Road# 10 & Indian Creek Road/Clarence-Cambridge Road. Directions to the Larose Forest - North of the Village of Limoges: >From Ottawa: Take 417E to Limoges (Exit 79). Go North on Limoges Road (Hwy 5). Go through the village, pass the sharp right hand curve and go straight at the flashing yellow light; this road become Indian Creek Road. Go pass Cambridge Estate housing project, after the little bridge you will be on gravel road. Stay on this road until you reach Road#10 on your left.
