I was walking south along the West Toronto Railpath last evening around 7:00, 
when at Randolph Avenue I encountered a Northern Mockingbird, on the west side 
of the path .  I am from Chicago, where Mimus polyglottos is rare enough, but 
was surprised to see this bird north of Lake Ontario.  I see that according to 
Sibley this is at the juncture between extreme north end of range, and rare.  
Thus I wanted to post.
