June 10 - A Trip to Rock Point Provincial Park tallied two immature Bald
Eagles, 7 Mute Swans (near Mohawk Island) 1100 Double-crested Cormorants
(mostly on Mohawk Island) 82 Bonaparte's Gulls, 22 Common Terns (including
10 fledglings) 5 Lesser Yellowlegs, and 5 Least Sandpipers.

Rock Point P. P. is about 35 Km west of Fort Erie, Ontario on the north
shore of Lake Erie. From Rock Point P. P. take Downey Road north about 2 Km
to Rhymer Road and turn left (west) and continue for about a Km till you
come to a series of ponds (the Mosaic Ponds) on the north side of Rhymer Road.

 Here I found 22 SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHERS, 1 Greater Yellowlegs, 11 Lesser
Yellowlegs, two Least Sandpipers, two (male and female) Blue-winged Teals,
and a male Green-winged Teal.

Best Wishes for Great Birding,
Bill Watson
