Today at around 5:45 p.m. I saw and heard a Common Raven in Scarborough.
This is likely one of the pair of Ravens that were seen earlier this year at
Ashtonbee and Pharmacy, by the Bell tower.

The bird was on top of a building calling and being harassed by a Cooper's
Hawk, which was putting on a wicked show, if I may say so myself.

The Ashtonbee Ravens haven't been seen at the tower for months. I wonder if
they moved to the building (about half a kilometre east of the tower) and
successfully nested there.

Directions: From Hwy. 401 exit on Warden and go south past Lawrence. At
Bertrand Ave. (north of Eglinton) make a left (east). Stop at the first
street on your left (Crockford Blvd.). The Common Raven was to the south of
the intersection on a building behid SA Armstrong.
