Following up on Garth Riley's Ont.bird posting this morning, I searched the waters off Humber Park West and East. I found an adult Northern Gannet circling and diving with about 25 gulls off the
southern-most headland of Humber Park East at 12:50 pm. It was about
100 m. off shore and but I could clearly see the white body, black
primaries and secondaries with my 30x scope. Several attempts at
photographing the gannet were unsuccessful. The gannet was chased off
by a power boat and then headed east toward Toronto Islands.

Directions: Humber Park East runs is located south off Park Lawn Road south of Lakeshore Boulevard. Park at the southern most parking lot and walk across the bridge to the headland.
