Around 1:30 PM I found and photographed a bird which appears to be a Swainson's 
Hawk in Leamington, Essex County. Looks were far from ideal as the bird was 
backlit, but by brightening the photos it appears to be a light morph 
Swainson's Hawk. The bird was heading west, not with any other raptors, 
following the shoreline. It's  very likely that it will go past Holiday Beach 
later today. I'll post the photos on my blog when I get a chance.

Hawk watching anywhere along Seacliff drive can be productive. I was watching 
from a gravel lane way that heads north about 1 km west of Erie Street.
