Gradual clearing occurred throughout the afternoon, eventually revealing a shining sun and partly cloudy sky. The wind was light to moderate and out of the southwest. Raptor Observations: There was little movement to speak of after the fog lifted. Non-raptor Observations: A nice group of Wood Ducks (15+) was hanging out in the channel upon our arrival. Small groups of Blue Jays and Red-winged Blackbirds braved the morning fog. Chimney Swift and Northern Rough-winged Swallows continue to be seen. Five Lesser Yellowlegs flew over in the afternoon.
