Yesterday (Monday, September 30th) at around 5:30pm I observed a European 
Goldfinch in a flock of roughly 10 American Goldfinches.  The finches were 
located south-west of the main parking lot, on the eastern side of Mimico 
Creek.  

Also present throughout the park:

Sparrows: Lincoln's, Swamp, Song, White-throated
Warblers: Magnolia, Yellow-rumped, Black-throated Green, Nashville, Common 
Yellowthroat
Others: Several Northern Mockingbirds, both Kinglets, Great Egret, Great Blue 
Heron, Black-crowned Night Heron, Green-winged Teal, Hooded Merganser, Belted 
Kingfisher
