I just had an adult gannet off the whimbrel watch point at Col. Sam Smith Park in Etobicoke.
It was approx. 200m offshore and trying to fly west against extremely strong westerly winds. It did not get much more than about 5-10m above the water. Birders west of Etobicoke should keep an eye out for it.
