Weather:
Cooler in the morning, temperatures increased as the day progressed. The
sky featured a pleasing mix of white and blue, which aided spotting. The
wind was moderate and out of the west.

Raptor Observations:
It was a nice day of movement after yesterday's washout. Adult
Sharp-shinned Hawks came by in bunches. Red-tailed Hawks did the same. And
Turkey Vultures floated by with regularity. Great looks at three swift
Merlins and a prolific late day harrier flight added to the overall
quality.

Non-raptor Observations:
American Crows (250+) made their biggest push of the season to date. Small
numbers of Red-winged (180+) and Rusty blackbirds (25+) passed overhead in
the morning. Blue Jays (130+) continued to move through in limited numbers.

Predictions:
Overcast with highs in the upper 50s, strong southwest wind and a 40
percent chance of rain.
