The male Eurasian Wigeon was still present off Thickson Point in Whitby as the
sun was setting this evening for those who might still wish to see it. It was
with more than 100 American Wigeon just east of the point itself and visible
from Crystal Beach Boulevard.
>From Highway 401, exit at Exit 412 (Thickson Road) in Whitby and take Thickson
Road S. south about 2 km to the cul-de-sac parking area at its southern
terminus. Here you can follow the Waterfront Trail west out to the end
of Thickson Point.
