today's hawk watch was intriguing as the winds were variously from the south, southeast, southwest, north and northwest ... eek- no wonder the hawks were confused - as were the hawk counters.

American Coot (Fulica americana)  7
Lesser Yellowlegs (Tringa flavipes)  3
Pectoral Sandpiper (Calidris melanotos)  2
Peregrine Falcon (Falco peregrinus)  2
Eastern Phoebe (Sayornis phoebe)  1
Gray Catbird (Dumetella carolinensis) 1 seen feeding on dogwood berries
Yellow-rumped Warbler (Setophaga coronata)  5
Rusty Blackbird (Euphagus carolinus)  150
