Re:Economic Value of Municipalities allowing access to Sewage Treatment Lagoons for Birders I am conducting a survey to assess the economic value of having access to the Almonte Sewage Lagoons in Mississippi Mills, Ottawa area. I want to convince our Council to allow the lagoon to remain intact as at present. If you have visited the Almonte sewage treatment lagoon for birding during 2013, please reply to the three statements below. "I have visited the Almonte lagoon trail and tower during 2013 ______times; I have spent approximately................dollars in Mississippi Mills during my visit(s) and I have spent it on (food, fuel, shopping, other) please underline." Make your reply to Cliff Bennett at [email protected]. Much appreciated. If this works out, we may get municipal cooperation for entry to lagoons all across Ontario. _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
