Weather:
A breezy day with south winds changing slowly to the SW with maximum gusts
to 40 kph. Temps ranged from 7.5 to 14.2C with clear skies mid day becoming
overcast by mid afternoon.
Raptor Observations:
Few raptors today with only 70 individuals of 8 species.
Non-raptor Observations:
A Red-throated Loon flew by the tower at 7:30 am. A total of 56 bird
species observed today with European Starling accounting for most
individuals with 17,700 counted.
Predictions:
More raptors as winds are shifting to the WNW!
