Hi Barb I report sightings in the Niagara area to the Buffalo Ornithological Society. Nice to see the C. Loons this winter they have been challenging to find in previous years. Also interesting about the RB Mergansers because we have just been seeing Common Mergansers up until now.

This is south of the Bowan Rd. Park. We did not see the eider. Hundreds of Red Breasted Mergansers were at the mouth of the Niagara River near the old fort. Take QEW to Fort Erie to Central Ave. Go north on the parkway to parkette.
