Weather:
A beautiful day, sunny, light wind out of the N, and a temperature of
between -5 and -1.
Raptor Observations:
The raptors must have all been shopping on this Black Friday as not one
crossed my path.
Non-raptor Observations:
A light movement of passerines in the first 1.5 hours of the count
including: 146 American Crow; 28 Snow Bunting; 2 American Pipit; 1,502
Red-winged Blackbird; and 5 American Goldfinch. The resident male Belted
Kingfisher is still present, as were 2 Great Blue Heron and 2 Mute Swan -
one still in juvenal plumage.
Predictions:
A repeat of today, although warming up to 4C.
