There was an immature male King Eider near the foot of Miles Road, just west of Humber Bay park. He was a few feet from shore until the ~3000 scaup took flight and spooked him.
Most of the scaup flew west (toward Sam Smith?), but some flew east. I no longer see the eider. _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
