A number of birders saw the Laughing Gull at noon today. It was in the
water and on the beach immediately to the east of Owen Point, which is
accessible only on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays during hunting season.
Since the bird was evidently not there two hours earlier, it is worth making
repeated attempts if necessary.
To reach Presqu'ile Provincial Park, follow the signs from Brighton.
Locations within the Park are shown on a map at the back of a tabloid
that is available at the Park gate.
