Just thought it was noteworthy to mention that myself, Steve Charbonneau and
Pete Chapman saw three GOLDEN EAGLES along the Ausable River near the
Thomson Line at the Sylvan Bridge this morning. We often get one Golden
there this time of year, but we first saw two adults together, then just as
we were leaving the area, an immature flew over.
A number of birds are in this area near the the Sylvan bridge including a
flock of YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS. Yesterday we had up to 13, but not quite
as many today probably due to the snow storm. A Carolina Wren was also
there along the river yesterday. Bald Eagles are also in the area.
DIRECTIONS:
Find Thomson Line (Lambton Rd. 6) near the Lambton/Middlesex border east of
Sylvan and SE of Thedford. Park on the north side near the bridge and take
a look.
