The gulls reported yesterday by Peter Hall returned today at dusk (4:15)
to the upstream side of Billings Bridge on the Rideau River in Ottawa.
Amongst the Great Blacked and Herring Gulls, there were Iceland (at least
2 adult and 3 first cycle) and Glaucous (at least 5 first cycle) Gulls. I
found both dark and pale juvenile Glaucous Gulls.

The gulls were easily seen (apart from the low light) from Warrington
Drive where there is good parking. If you approach along Riverside, cross
the bridge and take the first left off Bank Street, which is Chesley
Street. Take Chesley one block then left on Harvard down to the river and
Warrington Drive.
