At the crossroads in the path just before you get to the viewing platform in 
the Pond, there are two recycling bins. Directly behind them there are a few 
tallish long needled conifers, and this fellow was about six feet off the 
ground at ~ 4:15 PM Dec 27.
 
Good view.
 
I didn't see either of the Snowies today.
 
Col Sam Smith Park is at the base of Kipling Avenue on Lake Ontario in Toronto. 
The pond is about a minute's walk East of the last parking lot.
