A female king eider is present at the mouth of the credit river, feeding on
zebra mussels with scaup right at the end of the concrete barrier on the
east side of the river. Very close views can be obtained from this side of
the river, but the walking is icy and precarious.
Also present are a Peregrine and the continuing 4 Yellow-rumped Warbler.

For the east side of the river, take Stavebank Rd. south from Lakeshore,
and park behind Smug Harbor restaurant.

For a much safer vantage point take Mississauga Rd. south from Lakeshore
and park at J. C. Saddington Park.

The male Harlequin Duck is still present on the east side of Sam Smith Park
at the base of Kipling in Etobicoke.
