-Was out to St.Catharines hospital Jan 5th finding  3 snowies ,2 jouveniles
and one apparent female .Two were on roadside fence posts and one in the field
behind the hospital .
-Directions :QEW southbound to St. Catharines, exit at 7th St. Louth, turn
right onto 7th until you reach 5th Ave Louth. Turn left on 5th Ave Louth until
1st. St. Louth. Owls were in the field north of 5th Ave ,on a fencepost on 6th
Ave Louth and on a hydropole on 1st Ave Louth

-Also found one snowy in Welland on a rooftop on Perth Trail off of the Dailmer
Parkway east of the Hwy 406

On a side note I happened upon the landowner of the property behind the
St.Catherines hospital .He respectfully asked if anyone coming out would kindly
refrain from venturing off the roadways onto any of the area land to get better
views of the owls .
Last year ,as per his account ,many people walked into his fields to get such
views crushing down and rendering useless his  winter wheat crop . I told him I
would pass along his request
