Hi Everyone
The 41st Massena,N.Y.- Cornwall,On. CBC took place on Saturday, December
28,2013. A total of 54 species and 10,888 individuals were recorded by 19 field
observers and 10 feeder watchers. The weather conditions for the day were
mainly overcast and windy with the temperatures ranging from -3c to +3c. The
St.Lawrence River was open except for sheltered bays and shoreline ice.
Overall, it was quiet with a low density of lands birds. The normal variety of
water bird species was down too. Of the 10,888 individual birds, 5,744 were
American Crows.
