OFO is holding anouting for young birders, under the age of 18 on Saturday, February 8th in the Peterborough area. Target birds include Bald Eagle, Glaucous and Iceland gulls, ducks, woodpeckers, waxwings, Snow Buntings, Horned Larks, hawks and owls.
The outing will be led by professional bird guide and OFO Board member Dave Milsom, and Luke Berg and Matthew Tobey, two expert young birders from Peterborough. Meet at 8:30 a.m. at the Peterborough Zoo parking lot. If you miss the start, you can call Dave Milsom at 705-772-4121 to catch up with the group. This will be an all day outing : there will be a stop for lunch but please bring a lunch if you wish. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Driving is required.
