This afternoon at about 3 PM I found a male Yellowheaded Blackbird on Merritt Road in Lincoln Township. Merritt Road is between exits 57 and 64 of the QEW and runs north and south. The bird was just north of house no. 4869 between the QEW and the shore of Lake Ontario. It was also adjacent to utility pole LO784. It sat in a small tree next to the road for about 20 minutes while I looked at from several different angles . It was still there when I left. I based on the plumage I believe it was a young male. Unfortunately I had no way of taking a picture.
