I wanted to let Ontbirders know that while I am still seeing the Tufted
Titmouse at my feeders on Howe Island, east of Kingston, it is highly
recommended that you avoid coming to Howe Island. The ferries are having
significant difficulties with almost constant closure since Friday and I am
not sure when service can resume normally (we need an extended thaw). I
wanted to make sure that someone didn't drive a long distance to find no
ferry service to the island. Since the Titmouse has been present since
mid-October I am hopeful it will remain until spring migration starts.

Happy birding!
