I had some inquiries about these birds so I am updating. The three King Eiders
were easily visible from the Bronte lighthouse this morning. They were in a
scaup raft off the west Bronte pier. The group is comprised of one young male
and two females one of which is reddish in colour.

Directions: Exit the QEW at Bronte Road (Oakville) and go to the lake then walk
out to the lighthouse.
