Many birders saw one young male King Eider on ice in the outer harbour at Bronte this morning. I was able to digiscope the bird with Sue’s cell phone. One is posted to my Flickr page: http://www.flickr.com/photos/gavin_edmondstone/
Directions: Exit the QEW at Bronte Road (Oakville) and go to the lake. Walk to the far end of the pier and check the edge of the ice.
